Scrapbook
I am really excited about this assignment. It definitely will be one of my favorite assignments I have ever done in college. I plan on using a powerpoint presentation with mainly pictures and little text (just to describe what the pictures represent.) I will use pictures to represent what I wanted to do in high school and how my family has impacted my life in all different ways. Also, I will use them to describe my life as it is now. And pictures from the internet and other places to represent where I hope to be in the future. Hopefully my pictures and text will get my point across with where I am in my life now and where I hope to be in the future.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are excited about this essay. It's one of my favorites to assign because people usually do such a terrific job with it.
One thing I would caution you on is to really focus the identity you wish to perform. You are such an intersting and complex person that it would be impossible to perform your whole identity in four pages/screens/min of video. For this reason, I would ask you to focus on a given aspect of your personality - your career, you as a sister, you as a friend, you as a daughter - and consider your past in that role, how you are performing this role now, and what you will be like in this role in the future.
